SWOT Analysis:

                We have many performance analysis tools and techniques to measure the business performance. SWOT analysis is one of them that’s helps the analysts to measure the business performance by measuring its core competencies like its Strengths, Opportunities, Weaknesses, and Threats.

The SWOT analysis is divided into two different portions one is SW- Strengths, Weaknesses and the other one is OT- Opportunity, Threats. SW is based on the department or business unit’s internal factors and OT is based on department or business unit’s external factors.

Business unit’s product, their techniques of operations, willingness towards development and growth and their internal communication is their strengths and Weakness. Their Competitors, Market and Industry growth and distribution or SCM networks are their Opportunity and Threats.


The leadership of the business uses this SWOT Analysis matrix to calculate and measure their performance in future and in present time. That helps them to make a continuous measurement report for their performance analysis.
